1st Annual Philippine Bookkeeper´s Congress molded the views of every accountant with regards to the bookkeeping profession. It was a nuke that hit the business industries and captured the attention of bookkeepers nationwide.
The convention was held last July 10-11 of 2008. The two-day congress tackled the newest updates and trends in taxation rules, Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS). The Bookkeeper´s Congress boosted the confidence of all the delegates who attended, making them more equipped and refreshed with regards to the accounting and taxation concerns. The event addressed the basic and complex issues of the bookkeeping process and apparently, the bookkeepers are now free from confusion. Significant data overflowed and every bits of information were discussed during the congress. It was then that relevant and meaningful topics were focused and solidify in a relaxed yet interactive manner. The delegates armored with the newest knowledge acquired from the four walls of the Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila, are now ready to face the challenges of taxation and hardships of recording financial transactions.
The congress aim to propagate the bookkeeping industry and encourage every individual to be one of the promising professionals in the future. Organizers are committed to conduct a series of Annual Philippine Bookkeeper´s Congress for another batch of hopefuls in the bookkeeping arena.
